Are you born again?
The most important thing anyone can know is about their relationship with God. The Bible tells us that God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins.
"For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 CSB
The love that God has for all of us is not measurable by human standards. God love is forever and He wants every single one of us to come to know Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
Sin
It is hard sometimes for us to understand sin. Sin is the breaking of God's laws. As human beings we all have a problem with sin.
We are sinners.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 CSB
No matter how hard we work or try we cannot fix the sin problem that we have. We can go to church, give money, and do all the good deeds we want but our works will not forgive our sin.
We need help.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
We need Jesus. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins.
"But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
God is not asking you to be a better person. He is inviting you to be a new person. The gift that God wants to give to each of us is a new life through Jesus Christ.
Today you can have a new life. You can be born again and begin a life of joyfully serving God.
“Truly I tell you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 CSB
What you need to do
1. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for your sins
2. Confess to God that you have sinned.
3. Repent (turn away) from your sins and ask God to forgive you
4. Ask Jesus to save you.
God is ready and willing to give you the gift of salvation (Knowing Jesus as Lord) today.
Stop what you are doing and pray asking God for salvation right now.
(sample prayer)
God,
"I know that I have sinned and broken your laws. I turn away from my sin and ask you to forgive me. Jesus I ask you to come in my heart and save me. I surrender my life fully and totally to you as my Lord. Thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen.:"
Once you know Jesus you will want to do something about. Tell someone you know that you have asked Jesus to be your savior. Find a church that is Bible believing and join with other believers in learning more about Jesus.
